This powder room in Waukesha had a dark, cave-like feel from the heavy wood vanity, busy wallpaper, and a ceiling height that was 13 inches lower than a normal bathroom design.
John, and Kay wanted an updated decor, and a more spacious feel. After some creative thinking, there was a way to remodel the ceiling to make it higher, the bathroom now feels larger. The new black vanity, contrasting slate floor, and bright color scheme provide a sense of freshness, and elegance to this now remodeled space.
Soap-Stone VanityThe "green iron" soap-stone counter top was unique and just the right color for this bathroom remodel in Waukesha. The black vanity doesn't compete, but forms a solid visual base in this newly designed space. © David Bader Photography
